Melanie Dawes CB, Permanent Secretary for the Department for Communities and Local Government, has written to local authority and housing association chief executives on continued safety checks and with independent advice endorsed by the National Fire Chiefs Council.

The update of interim mitigation measures required pending remediation of cladding, published 29 September 2017, supersedes Annex A to this letter.
