The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Associated Waste Management Limited.
The proposed variation may significantly increase the risk from waste operations.

The site is an existing hazardous waste transfer station with physical treatment. The variation is to increase the permit boundary to allow for the construction of a building where treatment of the main non-hazardous and inert wastes sorting processes will take place as well as some waste to be stored. The variation will not increase the annual throughput.
