Details of the application
The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from SGN Gas to Grid ProjectC01 Limited.

Regulated facility type
This is an application to operate a new biomethane to grid plant within the Blackburn Meadows Sludge Treatment Facility operated by Yorkshire Water Services Limited. The biogas being produced at the Yorkshire Water facility is being treated at the new site as a directly associated activity. The new site will upgrade and condition this biogas to meet quality to enable it to be injected to the local grid network.
