Citation

1. This determination may be cited as the Rural Services Delivery Grant Determination 2024-25 No. 31/7256

Purpose of the grant

2. The purpose of this grant is to provide un-ringfenced funding in recognition of the possible additional costs of delivering services in sparsely populated areas. Determination

3. The Minister determines the authorities to which grant is to be paid and the amount of grant to be paid as set out in Annex A of this determination.[footnote 1]

4. Payment of the grant will be made in two instalments. The first in June 2024, and the second in December 2024.

5. Before making this determination in relation to local authorities in England, the Minister obtained the consent of the Treasury[footnote 2].
