Rumwood Green Farm Ltd has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from an online pond on a tributary of the River Beult, at National Grid References TQ 79316 49571, TQ 79361 49551, TQ 79351 49534 and TQ 79309 49556.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 66 cubic metres an hour
- 1,584 cubic metres a day
- 78,168 cubic metres a year
- Between 1 September and 30 April inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for Trickle Irrigation (Storage).
