We are installing a completely new operating system at Romney Lock to improve reliability and ease of use for customers and our staff.
While our contractors are on site carrying out this upgrade, the lock will be subject to intermittent closures. We will do all we can to minimise the frequency and duration of any closures, but customers should prepare for significant delays or, if possible, avoid using the lock during the dates shown above.
