Details of the application

Rockscape Contract Services Limited have applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from North Moor Drain/Moody Drain between National Grid References SE 79198 08465 and SE 81566 08504, and Warping Drain at National Grid Reference SE 81431 08883.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 60 cubic metres an hour
  • 900 cubic metres a day
  • 42,000 cubic metres a year

Between April and September inclusive in each year.

The water will be used for spray irrigation.
