Robert Watts Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the Bourne Eau at National Grid References (NGRs) TF 12224 19922 and TF 14076 19310 and South Fen unnamed drains within NGRs TF 14066 19280, TF 13878 18889, TF 12091 19279 and TF 12205 19890 at Black House Farm, Bourne, Lincolnshire.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 125 cubic metres an hour
  • 2,200 cubic metres a day
  • 15,106 cubic metres a year
  • Between 1 April and 31 October inclusive in each year.

The water will be used for spray irrigation.
