Robert Dormor, Richard Dormor and John Dormor trading as J Burrough & Co has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the East Devon Greensand water body via a borehole at National Grid Reference SY 22046 88533.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 5 cubic metres an hour
  • 95 cubic metres a day
  • 27,035 cubic metres a year

Abstraction will take place all year for the purpose of general farming, and between March and November inclusive each year for domestic purposes.
