The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from GAP Group Limited.

The application is for a new bespoke permit to authorise the acceptance of portable toilet wastes and septic tank wastes collected to remove extraneous matter prior to ‘directly’ discharging to foul sewer or to treat the waste by settlement to reduce the solids prior to discharge. The site operations will be considered as a disposal operation and will not treat more than 50 tonnes per day. It will accept up to 18,250 tonnes per year and up to 350 tonnes per week.
