River Thames: river restriction notice for exercise between Hurley and Temple Locks

Near Harleyford Marina, between Hurley and Temple locks.

University of Buckinghamshire Medical School, Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and Thames Valley Police are carrying out an emergency water rescue exercise in the area outside Harleyford Marina between Hurley lock and Temple lock. During the exercise, a passenger vessel will be simulated to be in distress with multiple casualties.
The Environment Agency will have patrol launches based upstream and downstream of the exercise. If you are navigating in this area during this time you will be given directions from their officers on duty. It is not anticipated that navigation will close during this exercise. Please continue navigating your journey past this area without stopping. This is to ensure the safety of both the exercise participants and other River Thames users.
