Use this calculator to work out the nutrient budget for proposed developments in the catchment of River Lugg.
The calculator includes all the wastewater treatment work upgrades required under the new Water Industry Act 1991 duty, as announced in May 2024.
It also reflects improvements that will be made to wastewater treatment works between 2025 and 2030 under the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) as published in January 2025.
Instructions are given in the calculator, but you should also read the guidance document.
