1. Arun internal drainage board
1.1 Drainage rates and special levies
Year ending 31 March 2023
Notice is hereby given in accordance with section 48 of the Land Drainage Act 1991. On the 9 of February 2022 the board made a drainage rate in respect of agricultural land and agricultural buildings in their district to raise £15,275 of their expenditure for the financial year ended 31 March 2023 as follows:
- a rate for sub district 1 of 5.68p in the pound
- a rate for sub district 2 of 7.39p in the pound
- a rate for sub districts 3 and 4 of 1.46p in the pound
A special levy of £66,462 to raise the balance of their expenditure for the year and charged on the following:
- Arun District Council £65,447
- Chichester District Council £298
- Horsham District Council £717
