This document reports on the findings of the Advisory Committee on the Safety of Blood, Tissues and Organs’ (SaBTO) Paediatric Components Working Group (PCWG).
The working group was established in January 2017 to advise whether specific variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) risk reduction measures in place for individuals born on or after 1 January 1996, or patients with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), should be maintained.
