Details of the application

Richard Walker has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from underground strata comprising of the Trendrean Mudstone Formation at Goonhavern, Cornwall at National Grid References SW 79851 54531, SW 79933 54472, SW 79988 54608 and SW 79878 54630.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 8 cubic metres an hour
  • 150 cubic metres a day
  • 18,800 cubic metres a year
  • all year.

The water will be used for private water undertaking to a holiday park for general domestic use.
