Richard Compton has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number NE/027/0022/025 which authorises the abstraction of water from surface water on the River Ure at National Grid Reference SE 34920 67090.

The variation applied for is to remove a Hands off Flow condition from the existing licence for the purpose of ‘maintaining flow through pond fountains’. All other parts of the licence will remain the same.
