Richard and Helen Towse trading as R and H Towse has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract surface water from Back Delfin between National Grid References SE 84394 37681 and SE 84364 37463, for the purpose of spray irrigation storage.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 100 cubic metres an hour
- 500 cubic metres a day
- 30,000 cubic metres a year
- at an instantaneous rate not exceeding 27.8 litres per second
- all year
The proposed abstraction lies within the Hull and East Riding Abstraction Licensing Strategy reporting area.
