Details

Request made under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR) for details of the total number of Leader grant beneficiaries between 2015 and 2020 and the number of Leader projects awarded funding for accommodation for tourists or visitors between 2015 and 2020. The number of Leader grant beneficiaries that applied for a waiver of their contractual obligations under the force majeure clause citing Covid-19 as the cause between 2020 and 2022, the number of force majeure requests rejected, the number of beneficiaries required to make a repayment or penalised and the amounts recovered where Covid-19 has been cited as the cause of a project failing. The number of Grant Funding Agreements (GFAs) that were signed where the authorised body was not stated as the Rural Payments Agency between 2014 and 2020 and details of the authorised bodies stated in the contracts.
