This data shows UK debit card spending in restaurants for Revolut customers between 1 March 2020 and 16 June 2021. The data is indexed to 1 March 2020.

Card spending data is useful in getting a more real-time understanding of consumer expenditure ahead of official statistics. However, please note that Revolut customers tend to be younger and more metropolitan than average with a fast-growing customer base of several million in the UK, so spending may not be representative of the overall UK macroeconomic picture.
