This research report reviews the current drink drive rehabilitation (DDR) course discretionally offered to drink drive offenders. The report:

  • examines the current DDR scheme, how effective it is and what improvements can be made to it
  • explores attitudes to expanding the DDR to include drug drivers
  • considers the feasibility of introducing a combined drink and drug drive rehabilitation course
