These reports give details on the reservoir incidents that have been reported to us during the year.

Details

The Environment Agency has produced an annual report on reservoir incidents in the UK since 2007.

Since July 2013, owners and operators of statutory reservoirs in England must:

  • report incidents
  • submit a post-incident report form to the Environment Agency

Owners and operators of small raised reservoirs in England can continue to report incidents on a voluntary basis. Small raised reservoirs have a capacity of less than 25,000 cubic metres of water above ground level.
