Details

Owners and operators of reservoirs must follow the requirements of the Reservoirs Act 1975 (the Act). The Environment Agency may take enforcement action if they do not.

The Environment Agency publishes the biennial report every 2 years. It sets out the actions we’ve taken to ensure compliance with the Act during the previous 2 years. We have produced a biennial report since 2007.
