Details

The guidance for providers outlines how the Department for Education (DfE) will respond when apprenticeship providers:

  • do not apply to join the apprenticeship provider and assessment register (APAR) by their deadline
  • breach an APAR condition of acceptance
  • apply to join the APAR and are unsuccessful
  • apply to join the APAR after being removed from it

The guidance for end-point assessment organisations (EPAOs) outlines:

  • when DfE may remove or limit EPAOs’ right to assess apprenticeships
  • how EPAOs can withdraw from assessing a particular standard
  • when EPAOs may reapply to join the APAR after removal or withdrawal
