The guidance for providers outlines how the Department for Education (DfE) will respond when apprenticeship providers:
- do not apply to join the apprenticeship provider and assessment register (APAR) by their deadline
- breach an APAR condition of acceptance
- apply to join the APAR and are unsuccessful
- apply to join the APAR after being removed from it
The guidance for end-point assessment organisations (EPAOs) outlines:
- when DfE may remove or limit EPAOs’ right to assess apprenticeships
- how EPAOs can withdraw from assessing a particular standard
- when EPAOs may reapply to join the APAR after removal or withdrawal
