Authorisation to allow for the dangerous goods driver training, for candidates applying for or refreshing an ADR Driver Training Certificate, as aligned with the provisions in ADR chapter 8.2.
Revised authorisation to allow dangerous goods driver training, for candidates applying for or refreshing an ADR Driver Training Certificate. The revision changes the location requirements for testing elements under ADR chapter 8.2. The revision still allows theory elements to be completed remotely but requires individual practical elements to be completed in person.
This authorisation will come into effect from 1 January 2026 and shall remain in force until 31 December 2026, unless withdrawn or otherwise revoked.
There will be no further authorisations as the UK will align with ADR 2027 from 1 January 2027.
