This notice has been published to clarify the policy intention behind regulation 15(1) of the Ecodesign for Energy‑Related Products and Energy Information (Household Tumble Dryers) Regulations 2026.

This clarification is intended to provide early certainty to manufacturers, importers and retailers ahead of the formal correction to the Regulations.
