A joint response from the UK ETS Authority bodies to the private consultation on the UK Emissions Trading Scheme (UK ETS) registry data publication policy.

Details
The UK ETS Authority launched a private consultation on 8 July 2022, on a series of proposals relating to legal obligations on the Authority regarding the UK ETS registry data publication policy, including:
- publishing compliance data
- the publication of additional HSE data
- the introduction of a new legal exemption to enable the Authority to publish additional scheme data in the future
The consultation was open to:
- installation and aviation operators
- trading account holders
- hospital and small emitters (HSEs)
This is a joint response from HM Government, Scottish Government, Welsh Government and the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs for Northern Ireland to the consultation.
