Details of the application

Raynham Farm Company Limited (The) has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number AN/034/0011/082 which authorises the abstraction of water from an unnamed drain adjacent to the River Wensum at Dark Wood, Raynham Estate, East Raynham at National Grid Reference (NGR) TF 87311 27606.

The variation applied for is to move the abstraction point from the unnamed drain at NGR TF 87311 27606 to an abstraction reach on the River Wensum between NGRs TF 87235 26983 and TF 87251 26798. The proposed abstraction reach is located approximately 800 metres upstream of the current abstraction point. No other changes have been applied for.
