Details of the application

Raymond Brown Quarry Products Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number SO/042/0033/023, which authorises the abstraction of water from an aquifer within the area defined by National Grid References SU 33235 22779, SU 33691 22860, SU 33723 22451 and SU 33262 2260.

The variation applied for is:

  1. Additional abstraction area defined by the National Grid References: SU 32230 22580, SU 32685 22580, SU 32685 21895 and SU 32230 21895.
  2. Additional abstraction quantities as follows: 67.20 cubic metres an hour 940.80 cubic metres a day 142,000 cubic metres a year
