Details

The Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 requires the government to review the operation of The Pubs Code etc. Regulations 2016 (‘the code’) and the performance of the Pubs Code Adjudicator (PCA).

This third statutory review covers the period from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2025.

The review was informed by:

• a public consultation
• a PCA post implementation review​ (PIR), which analyses the costs and benefits of the code since its implementation in 2016
• publicly available evidence
