Details

The Pubs Code Adjudicator (PCA) is a statutory office holder and enforces the statutory Pubs Code. The Pubs Code regulates the relationship between all pub companies owning 500 or more tied pubs in England and Wales and their tied tenants. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is the PCA’s sponsor department and the framework document sets out the broad governance framework within which the PCA and BEIS operate, including:

  • roles and responsibilities
  • accountability and assurance
  • governance and structure
  • management and financial responsibilities
