Defence Scientific Advisory Council (DSAC)

The Defence Scientific Advisory Council has been the MOD’s main source of independent advice on non-nuclear science, technology, engineering, analysis and mathematics issues since 1969. The council is an Advisory Non-Departmental Public Body reporting the Secretary of State for Defence. The primary role of DSAC independent members is to provide independent, objective, timely advice, based on their own knowledge and experience.

DSAC Members are remunerated at a daily rate of £380.

All appointments and re-appointments have been made in accordance with the Governance Code on Public Appointments.

March

The following members have been re-appointed by the Minister of State for Defence Procurement up to a further period of 3 years ending on 31 March 2019:
