An update on the Project Gigabit Delivery plan and procurement pipeline for the £5 billion gigabit broadband roll out.

The December update includes the following topics:
- A summary of progress with the procurement pipeline, including; the signing of four additional regional and local contracts, representing £76 million of government investment to deliver gigabit-capable broadband to up to 33,000 premises; adding upcoming Project Gigabit procurements in Scotland and Northern Ireland to the procurement pipeline, which will cover up to 160,000 premises; the publication of our first Annual Report and Accounts as an Executive Agency, showing we have subsidised coverage to 929,700 premises up to the end of March 2023;
- An update on the progress of Project Gigabit across the Union.
- As per previous updates, publication of regional and national progress on levels of gigabit coverage and details of commercial build and investment in UK gigabit infrastructure;
- Updates on relevant topics including the VHTR and USO consultations, Rural Connectivity Accelerator, and a barrier busting update.
