Packaging data service levels 2026: Producer Responsibility Regulatory Services

The UK environmental regulators involved are:
- Environment Agency
- Scottish Environment Protection Agency
- Northern Ireland Environment Agency
- Natural Resources Wales
In this document we refer to these regulators as ‘the agencies’.
This document provides a list of:
- data input requirements
- the agencies’ target service levels (known as outputs)
Applies to:
- packaging producers
The agencies will publish data in relation to reprocessors and exporters. This agreement will be updated with reprocessor and exporter data publishing information in due course.
Packaging data service level: 2026
Producer packaging publication dates
Reports contain aggregated data in tonnes. The agencies will aim to extract data from the report packaging data (RPD) service every 2 months.
The overall figures will fluctuate throughout the year as resubmissions take place and additional organisations register.
Target 2025 and 2026 data publication dates in 2026 are as follows.
15 January 2026, update:
- 2024 H1 and add 2024 H2 data (large producers)
- 2025 H1 data (large producers)
- 2024 data (small producers)
16 March 2026, update:
- 2024 H1 and add 2024 H2 data (large producers)
- 2025 H1 data (large producers)
- 2024 data (small producers)
15 May 2026:

15 July 2026, update:

What these reports do and do not cover
The reports include packaging data submitted by producers and where relevant their compliance schemes.
The figures do not include:
- data from producers or compliance schemes who have failed to report
- data from producers who reported their data after the date it was extracted from the RPD system
