This research uses the longitudinal education outcomes (LEO) study to explore how young people move through education and into employment in England.

It looks at differences in attainment, employment and periods spent not in education, employment or training, particularly for learners:

  • eligible for free school meals (FSM)
  • with special educational needs (SEN)

It complements official statistics on:

It provides a longer-term view of outcomes by disadvantage status than those releases.
