We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
I am writing under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act to request copies of any reports and information you may have on the Oldham riots of 2001.
I am particularly interested in any documents relating to the police action at the time, the local authority’s activities immediately before and after the riots and any reports relating to the media coverage of the Oldham situation.
I would be happy to receive any information you have either be email to the address above or by hard copy. A prompt reply would be much appreciated.
