Details

Ofsted gathers the views of local authorities which place and fund pupils in independent schools by sending a survey by email to the school at a specific point in time during the inspection year. The school is asked to distribute the survey to all local authorities that place and fund children in the school.

For guidance on how Ofsted will use the responses to the surveys, please refer to the document collections Ofsted inspections of boarding and residential provision in schools and Ofsted’s inspections of non-association independent schools.
