The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Archimedes Metals Limited.

This application is for a bespoke permit to operate a metal recycling facility. The facility has been operating under waste exemptions, there are no proposed changes to the current operations. Waste is treated within the the processing shed using static pedal operated shears, a baler and cable strippers. The proposed tonnage is 10,000tpa.
