The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 (that does not involve substantial change) from South West Water Limited.

South West Water Limited is currently permitted to discharge storm sewage and sewage discharged in an emergency from Trevone Pumping Station to Trevone Bay via an outlet at NGR SW 8869 7607. They have applied to change the location of the outlet and shorten the outfall pipe so that effluent can be discharged to Trevone Bay at NGR SW 8867 7598 instead.

Normally the Environment Agency must put any comments they receive on the public register. Tell the Environment Agency if you don’t want your comments to be public.

The Environment Agency must decide whether to grant or refuse the application. If they grant it, they must decide what conditions to include in the permit.
