P.J. Thory Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number AN/032/0011/048 to abstract water from Underground strata comprising of sands and gravels at Willow Hall Quarry at the area contained within the boundary between the following National Grid References (NGRs): TF 24550 02230,  TF 25204 02339, TF 24767 01352, and TF 23995 01104 for the purpose of transferring it without intervening use to Cat’s Water Drain at National Grid Reference TF 24533 02217.

The variation applied for is: to include a new abstraction area between the following NGRs: TF 24550 02230, TF 25792 02604, TF 26005 01569, and TF 23995 01104 and to include additional discharge points at NGRs TF 24533 02217 and TF 25910 02324.

The abstraction quantities are remaining the same.
