Peroxosulphates (persulphates) from China (anti-dumping duty 2383)

Overview

Continuing the anti-dumping measures on peroxosulphates (persulphates), originating in the People’s Republic of China.

Following an expiry review, the Commission has announced, in Regulation no. 2020/39, OJ ref.L13, that it is continuing the anti-dumping duty on peroxosulphates (persulphates), including potassium peroxymonosulphate sulphate, originating in the People’s Republic of China for a further 5 years.

This regulation takes effect from 18 January 2020.

The application of individual duty rates is conditional on the presentation of a valid commercial invoice which conforms to the requirement in the annex below.

If no such invoice is presented the duty rate applicable to ‘all other companies’ will apply.

The outcome of this expiry review in no way prejudices the outcome of the circumvention investigation which began on 27 September 2019.

Annex

A declaration dated and signed by an official of the entity issuing the commercial invoice, in the following format, must appear on the valid commercial invoice:

(1) The name and function of the official of the company which has issued the commercial invoice.

(2) The following declaration: “I, the undersigned, certify that the (volume) of (product concerned) sold for export to the European Union covered by this invoice was manufactured by (company name and address) (TARIC additional code) in the People’s Republic of China. I declare that the information provided in this invoice is complete and correct.”
