Percentage of ADIs whose candidates passed driving test: national and Bredbury DTC figures

This is Freedom of Information request IA/00334/13.

1. Request

For the 2012/13 financial year, please provide the percentage of approved driving instructors (ADIs) who have presented a candidate for test and the candidate has passed for the following categories. Can I have National figures and separate figures for Bredbury driving test centre (DTC).

0-40% 41-50% 51-59% 60-69% 70 -74% 75-79% 80+%

These figures should include all ADIs even if they have only presented one candidate. This is for car practical tests only.

2. Response

The table below shows the percentage of ADIs who fall into the requested categories for presented a candidate for test where the candidate has passed during the 2012/13 financial year. It should be noted that this information is reliant on the ADI displaying their badge when their candidate takes a test and no allowance has been made for those that have taken their test more than once.
