Pellikaan (Construction) Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a licence to abstract water from underground strata consisting of Chalk at Rivermead Leisure Complex, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire from the area between National Grid References: SU 70727 74509, SU 70745 74514, SU 70750 74488 and SU 70731 74487 to transfer it to a soakaway drain at Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire at National Grid Reference SU 70830 74487 without intervening use.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

Abstraction will take place for the purpose of dewatering for construction of a diving pool.
