1. 11 September 2026

   The Design specification for P45 (Online), P45 (Continuous), P45 (Continuous)(E), P45 (Laser continuous), P45 (Laser sheet), and P45 manual forms have been updated. Information about Tax credits and Universal Credit has been removed.

   The design specification for P45 has been updated.

   The latest version of the design specification for P45(Online) PDF has been added.

   The latest version of the design specification for P45(Online) PDF has been added.

5. 6 April 2016

   Changes have been made to the P45 form but older versions will still be accepted.

   Rates, allowances and duties have been updated for the tax year 2015 to 2016.
