An application has been made to the Environment Agency by Patrick Dean Limited. The Environment Agency are required to give notice of this application.

The application is to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water serial number 4/30/09/*S/0111 which authorises the abstraction of water from the Pump Pond, on the Branston Beck in Branston and Mere, North Kesteven, Linconshire at National Grid Reference (NGR) TF 0096 6557.

The variation applied for is to increase:

  • annual abstraction rate from 79,556 cubic metres to 200,000 cubic metres
  • hourly abstraction rate from 165.6 cubic metres to 196.4 cubic metres
