This commitment will enable an increase in scholarships for people with disabilities and in subject areas related to the rights of people with disabilities from the 2019 UK academic year onwards. In 2019, we will identify and appoint disabled people’s organisations to nominate applicants for our programmes, and will work with our UK university partners to identify and promote academic courses related to the rights of people with disabilities.
