The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is responsible for supervising deputies appointed by the Court of Protection, and making sure they carry out their work in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
This privacy notice explains what we do with the data we collect and how to contact us with any question. It sets out the standards that you can expect from OPG and includes information about:
- when we request or hold personal information (‘personal data’) about you
- how you can get access to a copy of your personal data
- what you can do if you think the standards are not being met
