This open general export licence (OGEL) permits the export or transfer of certain dual-use items from the UK to India.

Reporting requirements

This OGEL is subject to reporting requirements under the open licence returns transparency initiative.

1. 16 December 2025

   This open general export licence (OGEL) has been updated to reflect changes to the list of controlled items in the Export Control Order 2008 and the assimilated Dual-Use Regulation (EC) No 428/2009. A condition has been added requiring the licence reference is entered onto the UK’s customs declarations system.

2. 31 July 2023

   This OGEL has been revised to address updates to the lists of controlled items in the dual-use regulations. The existing version has become the latest revoked version.
