This Open Book Review of the Northern Ireland Executive’s (NIE) finances was created using data from NIE departments and with support from the Department of Finance. It sets out the challenges facing the NIE and demonstrates a number of options for the Executive to consider to improve its financial sustainability and to transform public services.
