How many qualified LGV driving instructors there are in the UK? Do you have this statistic? I just need a total number.
Response
Our records show that as of 14 August 2013 there were 781 instructors registered on the voluntary LGV register.
Please note that the register of LGV instructors was launched in 1997 and the scheme was on a voluntary basis. This figure only includes individuals who have chosen to register. Those who have not registered are free to train in this category of vehicle as long as they comply with the accompanying driver rules.
