Details
This policy framework sets out the mandatory requirements and general guidance for prison and probation staff on the release and ongoing management of individuals subject to licence as part of a custodial sentence.
It covers the use of standard, compulsory, presumptive, additional, and bespoke licence conditions. The framework explains the introduction of presumptive licence conditions, which are being implemented for the first time.
It also sets out the revised wording of the standard licence conditions, simplifying existing language and introducing a new standard condition requiring the disclosure of passport details. In addition, the policy provides the full list of available additional licence conditions.
